Micronesia Registration Advisors, International Corporate Formation Specialists
Mr. Kasio E. Mida, Sr., former FSM Ambassador to Japan and Chief of Staff to FSM President Manny Mori, became the Senior Headquarters Executive for Micronesia Registration Advisors, Inc. on December 1, 2011.
Mida began his career in 1968 as Political Affairs Adviser in the Truk (Chuuk) District Administration, and later as Administrative Officer with the Interim Congress of the FSM. From 1979 to 1983 Mida served in the Cabinet of the first FSM Government as Personnel Officer for President Nakayama. He then continued his service as Special Assistant to the President through 1986.
In 1986 Mida became the FSM Consul General to Honolulu where he served for 18 years, before being appointed as FSM Ambassador to Japan in 2004. From the Tokyo Chancery, Ambassador Mida also served as FSM's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Korea.
Mr. Mida graduated from Xavier High School in Chuuk, before attending Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated in 1968 with a BA in Political Science. Mida is married to the former Ginger Porter of Pohnpei, who is now Postmaster General of the FSM. They have seven sons and two daughters.
