Micronesia Registration Advisors, International Corporate Formation Specialists
Micronesia Registration Advisors, Inc, a corporation registered and headquarted in the Federated States of Micronesia, was founded in 2005. MRA responded to the FSM government's internationally published RFP (Request For Proposal) for a Registration Advisor and was awarded the opportunity to negotiate a contract to promote the FSM's Corporate Registry and related programs. The long term contract was signed on November 14, 2005.
At Citibank for 22 years, Steve was the Division Executive of both Worldwide Securities and North Asia, a member of Citicorp's senior strategy body and a senior credit officer. Thereafter, he was a founder and the Chairman for nine years of Lanka Bell (Pvt) Limited telephone company in Sri Lanka. He remains Vice Chairman of Hawaii Pacific University, and is an author and the manager of several technology funds. As graduate of the Business School of the University of Denver in 1972, Steve completed the Executive Program at the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia in 1977.
(USCPA) After working at Arthur Young in Texas, Mark moved to Guam to join Peat Marwick & Mitchell. Thereafter, he became an instructor of accounting at the University of Guam and taught students from Palau, Guam, CNMI, FSM and the Marshalls. In 1986, he became Chief Financial Officer of the University of Guam and held that position under various titles such as Controller, Vice President of Finance, and Vice President of Administration and Finance. He took a keen interest in investment and capital markets, and took a part-time position with a fund management firm, which became a full-time position after he retired from the University of Guam. He has been CFO of MRA since 2005.
Jim has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry with Alpha Capital Research, Morgan Stanley and Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. of New York. He has extensive global experience in capital markets and the investment management business, including roles in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, Taipei and Honolulu. Jim graduated from Princeton University in 1982, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and studied abroad at both Leningrad State University in the Soviet Union and the Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a certified board director having successfully completed corporate governance training programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Jim currently serves on a number of public and private non-profit boards.
Randy graduated from George Washington University Law School and went on to work at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and A.G. Becker as an attorney. He is the former President of Merrill Lynch Japan.
Robert is the former Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of a number of publicly listed companies, such as Nortel Networks, in the US, Europe, India, China and Asia Pacific Countries. His key accomplishments include leading the start-up, operation and restructuring of entrepreneurial, multinational and government-linked organizations as well as private and publicly listed companies. He also founded CRICT, a consulting company. He is currently an advisor and director of a number of organizations.
Kasio is the former FSM Ambassador to Japan, China and Korea and Chief of Staff to FSM President Manny Mori. He graduated from Rockhurst College in Missouri, and then Served as Political Affairs Advisor in the Chuuk District Administration and Administrative Officer and Personnel Officer for the first President Nakayama. He also served as the FSM Consul General to Honolulu for 18 years.
Ayako graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania. After being in charge of marketing and company performance reporting in both the United States and Japan, she worked at an international accounting firm in the Philippines to provide accounting and legal services to Japanese companies.
Midori graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University with a degree in International Education under a Scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. She moved to San Luis Obispo, California shortly after graduation and started a career as a pre-school instructional aide at the Community Action Partnership. She later worked for C&D Zodiac Aerospace and joined MRA in September 2013.
Linda completed two years at Hawaii Pacific College in Honolulu, then went on to work as an executive secretary for the Bank of Hawaii, Pohnpei Branch from 1991 to 2002. She was an administrative Clerk at the Bank of Guam from 2003 to 2008 and was executive Secretary to the Lt. Governor from 2008 to 2011. She worked at the department of Health Services, Pohnpei State as an Account Technician from 2012 to 2013 and joined MRA in February 2013 as Office Manager.
Masao graduated from the Dokkyo University, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Department of German. He worked as a System Coordinator and General Cargo Sales Agent for Phoenix Transport & Trading and was in charge cargo sales for Continental Airlines and later Hawaiian Airlines. He joined MRA in January 2014.
Kayoko graduated from Tsuda College, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Department of English. She worked as secretary at the following law firms in Tokyo: Mitsui Yasuda, Wani & Maeda, Mitsui Company and Linklaters. She Joined MRA in January 2014.
Jared graduated from the College of Micronesia with a degree in Computer Information Systems. After graduation, he launched a local information technology service company focused on both hardware and software solutions. Also, Jared has been a very active promoter of youth related activities. In 2013 he founded an NGO, the Chuuk Young Executives program, which helps Chuuk’s youth establish careers in both the public and private sectors. He serves on various boards in Chuuk including the Micronesia Red Cross Society and the Micronesian Youth Services Network.
